It's voting day here in Texas, and it's been all over the news - Obama has momentum, but Hillary tends to do better with hispanic voters, etc. etc. It's also the main topic of conversation around our house. From my brief walk around our neighbourhood yesterday, lawn sign polling showed Obama ahead (three lawn signs to one). Perhaps not a large enough sample size. And, in the interest of full disclosure, one of the Obama signs is on our lawn.
We can't vote of course, but it's still exciting. Usually primaries in Texas don't count, since one of the nominees is way ahead (as it doesn't matter in the Republican contest). The democrats around here (which in Austin, unlike most of Texas, are a majority) are pretty fired up. It's a historic vote.
Kate is the only American in the house, but apparently they don't let babies vote.
