Kate and Nora

A couple of weeks ago, Heather came over for an afternoon of tea and laundry. She brought her beautiful daughter Nora:

The girls are a bit young to play, but we did put them down on the playmat to see what they would think of each other. I'm not sure they really noticed:

Until Nora started to cry. Kate was not impressed.

It's great having Heather in the neighbourhood, to know that someone else is doing the same thing each day as I am. It's nice to have tea once a week and commiserate. I'll be sad when they move to Maine.

Yay! I'm so glad you posted these pictures. The one of Kate looking skeptically at crying-Nora is hilarious. I'm uploading photos to flickr now, finally. There's good ones of Kate in the bumbo and you and Matt and Kate and Nora at our place. flickr.com/scrilldadoolittle

It looks like Kate is contemplating eating Nora. I think Nora should be afraid.

Nora is very cute. Very. And Kate's extra chins are coming along very well:)

I thought the same thing that Karen did when I saw that last photo, it's very funny. And Nora is so tiny next to Kate.
