Apres Bath
Kate had her first bath at home today. She did get one at the birth center about 6 or 8 hours after her birth. At that time, she was a mess - meuconium, blood, poo. The whole gamut. Today it was much less messy. The first bath, she screamed through. Today she seemed to like it, and was very alert and quiet. She stayed alert for an hour afterwards, which means finally some pictures with her eyes open. I call it the 'apres bath montage':

OOooohhhh. she's a BEAUTY! I LOVE her eyes (c; I'm hoping they'll be open more by the time I get to visit 'cause them eye is somethin' I could gaze into for a LONG time!

Adorable. Glad to know we aren't the only ones who waited several days to bathe our child!
